We cut for the light you actually live in.

Noor means light. When I opened the atelier in 2014, in a quiet lane in Sadashivanagar with two chairs and a north-facing window, I wanted a salon that worked the way a good tailor does: it listens first, measures twice and cuts for the life you actually lead. Your office lights, your Sunday afternoons, your wedding photographs.

Twelve years on we have six chairs and the same window. Every artist takes one guest at a time, every colour is mixed by hand, and nobody leaves without knowing how to recreate it at home. That, more than any product on the shelf, is the luxury.

The atelier ritual

Five unhurried acts, whatever brings you in: a fringe trim or a wedding morning.

  1. The consultation

    20 min

    A mirror, a filter coffee and an honest conversation about your hair, your mornings and the light you live in. Nothing is cut until we agree.

  2. The wash ritual

    15 min

    Warm water, a scalp massage with our cold-pressed oil blend and a recline long enough to forget your inbox.

  3. The craft

    As long as it takes

    Cut wet and dry, coloured by hand by the north window. One guest per artist, so you have their whole attention.

  4. The finish

    20 min

    A blow-dry with a lesson: your artist shows you the three moves that recreate it at home.

  5. The after

    Three weeks later

    A card with your formula, and a message from your artist to ask how it is growing out.
