Care plans · After launch

Website maintenance and care plans, for the site after launch.

A care plan is website maintenance done properly: the framework and its dependencies kept up to date, security patches applied, the site monitored and backed up, content changes and new pages made when you need them, and a monthly report on how the site is doing in Google and in AI answers. Care plans are quoted with your project rather than sold as fixed tiers.

What a care plan covers

Eight things that keep a site fast, secure and current.

A care plan covers the work a live website needs every month — the updates, the patches, the monitoring and the backups that keep it safe, and the content, pages and search work that keep it useful.
Framework and dependency updates
Next.js, React and every package the site depends on, kept current and tested on a preview copy of the site before anything reaches the live one.
Security patches
Applied when a fix is published, not at the next scheduled visit. A hand-written site has far less to patch than a plugin stack, but what it has matters.
Uptime monitoring
The site checked around the clock. If it stops responding we hear first, and you hear from us with what happened rather than from a customer.
Backups
The code in version control and the content and data backed up, so any change can be undone and nothing depends on one machine or one person.
Content changes
New prices, new timings, new team members, new photographs — sent on WhatsApp or by email, and made for you.
New pages
A new service, a new location, a campaign landing page — built to the same standard as the rest of the site, with its own metadata and structured data from the first day.
A monthly SEO and GEO report
What the site ranks for now, what moved, and what AI assistants say when someone asks them about your business — in plain language, including the months when the honest answer is that nothing changed.
Blog posts
Articles written around questions your customers actually ask, where search work is part of the plan — each one structured so an AI system can quote the answer.

Why it matters

A website is not finished when it launches.

A site nobody looks after does not stay where it was; it drifts behind — out-of-date prices, a framework that misses its security fixes, pages that no longer match how the business works, and competitors who kept publishing.

Next.js and WordPress

Less to maintain, not nothing.

A hand-written Next.js site needs less maintenance than a WordPress site — there are no plugins and no theme to update every week — but it still depends on a framework and dozens of packages, and those receive security fixes that have to be applied.
No plugin treadmill
A WordPress site depends on plugins and a theme, each updating on its own schedule and each able to break the others. A Next.js site we build has neither.
Fewer moving parts per visit
Pages are prerendered, so there is no database answering every visit and far less that can fail when traffic spikes.
Still not zero
Frameworks publish security releases. This site's own framework was upgraded for one in September 2026 — exactly the kind of update a care plan applies without the owner needing to know it happened.
Content is the larger half
For most businesses the code needs attention a few times a year and the content needs it every month. A care plan covers both, so neither waits for the other.

Who it is for

Four sites that need looking after.

  • CARE 01

A site we built for you

The natural continuation: the people who built the site keep it current, and the search work started at launch carries on.
  • CARE 02

    A business with no developer

If the person who could change the site has left, a care plan is the simplest way to have one again.
  • CARE 03

A site that should change often

Menus, prices, timings, offers and staff. If the site should change every month, a care plan is how it actually does.
  • CARE 04

A site we did not build

Taken on after a review of how it is built. Some sites are better rebuilt than maintained, and the review says which — website redesign covers the other path.

How a care plan runs

One review, then a monthly rhythm.

  1. 01 · First

    Review the site

What it runs on, what it depends on, and what is out of date today. For a site we built, we already know.

  2. 02 · With your project

    Agree the scope

What each month covers — updates, monitoring, backups, how many content changes and new pages, and whether search work and the report are included.

  3. 03 · Every month

    Run the month

Updates tested on a preview first, then applied; content changes made as they arrive; monitoring running throughout.

  4. 04 · Monthly

    Report

What was done, what the site ranks for, and what AI assistants say about you — in plain language.

Care plans are quoted with your project, not sold as fixed tiers, because a five-page site that changes twice a year and a site that publishes every week need different amounts of work. If search is the main point, the fuller version of that work is SEO and GEO management.

Questions

About website maintenance.

What does a website care plan include?

Framework and dependency updates, security patches, uptime monitoring, backups, content changes and new pages, and a monthly SEO and GEO report — the work that keeps a site fast, secure and current after launch.

How much does website maintenance cost?

Care plans are quoted with your project, because what a site needs after launch depends on how often it changes, how many pages it has and how much search work goes with it.

There is no fixed tier to choose from. Tell us what the site does at info@myfloww.in and the care plan is scoped alongside it.

Does a Next.js website need maintenance?

Less than a WordPress site — there are no plugins to update every week — but it still needs its framework and dependencies patched when security fixes are released, and its content kept current.

A site that is never touched keeps working until the day a vulnerability is published in something it depends on. A care plan is how that day passes without anyone noticing.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Yes, after a review of how it is built — the review tells us what we would be taking on, and some sites are better rebuilt than maintained.

What happens if the website goes down?

Uptime monitoring alerts us when the site stops responding, and we find and fix the cause — so you hear about it from us, with what happened, rather than from a customer.

Tell us about the site you need looked after.

Care plans are quoted with your project. Tell us what the site does, how often it changes and whether search is part of the job, and we will scope the plan around it.
