How We Work
Culture, Values & Business Ethics
How we build matters as much as what we build.
MyFloww is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency and respect. Our culture is built around ownership, continuous learning, responsible engineering and doing what is right for our clients, colleagues and partners.
These principles guide how we make decisions, build technology, handle information, work with customers and treat one another.
Our core values
Ownership
We take responsibility for the work we accept, the decisions we make and the outcomes we influence. Problems are raised early, commitments are taken seriously and accountability is shared across the team.
Integrity
We aim to communicate honestly with clients, colleagues and partners. We do not intentionally misrepresent capabilities, progress, pricing, experience or results.
Curiosity
Technology changes quickly. We encourage continuous learning, thoughtful experimentation and the willingness to challenge assumptions when a better solution may exist.
Customer impact
Technology should solve a real problem. We focus on building systems that create practical value rather than adding complexity for its own sake.
Respect
We expect professional, respectful communication regardless of role, background, seniority or difference of opinion.
Responsible engineering
We consider security, privacy, maintainability, accessibility, reliability and long-term ownership when designing and delivering technology.
Business ethics
MyFloww expects employees, contractors, partners and representatives acting on behalf of the company to conduct business responsibly and professionally.
Honest business practices
We aim to present our services, capabilities, timelines and commercial terms accurately. We do not knowingly use fabricated client testimonials, misleading case studies, false certifications or deceptive claims to win business.
Fair and transparent commercial practices
Project scope, pricing, responsibilities, payment terms and ownership expectations should be communicated clearly before work begins wherever reasonably possible.
Changes to scope should be discussed openly rather than introduced without explanation.
Anti-bribery and improper payments
MyFloww does not support bribery, kickbacks or improper payments intended to influence a business decision.
Employees and representatives should not offer, request or accept inappropriate financial or personal benefits in exchange for favourable treatment.
Gifts and hospitality
Reasonable business hospitality may sometimes be appropriate, but gifts or benefits should never be used to improperly influence a commercial decision.
If a gift or benefit could reasonably create a conflict, obligation or appearance of undue influence, it should be declined or disclosed.
Conflicts of interest
Business decisions should be made in the interests of the company, its clients and the relevant project rather than for undisclosed personal benefit.
Employees and representatives should disclose situations where personal, financial or family interests could influence — or appear to influence — a business decision.
Examples may include:
- Financial interests in a supplier or customer
- Personal relationships affecting hiring or procurement
- Outside work that conflicts with MyFloww responsibilities
- Accepting benefits from a vendor involved in a commercial decision
Potential conflicts do not automatically mean wrongdoing. The important expectation is transparency and appropriate review.
Protecting client information
Clients trust MyFloww with business information, software requirements, credentials, intellectual property and sometimes personal or commercially sensitive data.
We expect this information to be handled carefully and only for legitimate business purposes.
Our principles include:
- Access information only when required for authorised work.
- Do not disclose confidential information without permission or a legitimate requirement.
- Use appropriate security practices when handling credentials and systems.
- Avoid sharing confidential client data with public AI tools unless explicitly permitted and appropriately protected.
- Report suspected data exposure, credential compromise or security incidents promptly.
Specific contractual, privacy and security obligations may vary by project and are governed by the relevant agreement and applicable policies.
Intellectual property and ownership
We respect the intellectual property of clients, employees, partners and third parties.
Software, content, designs, licensed assets, open-source components and third-party services must be used according to their applicable rights and licences.
Where a client agreement provides ownership of custom deliverables, MyFloww aims to ensure that ownership and handover expectations are clearly documented.
Proprietary code, designs and confidential materials from unrelated projects should not be copied into another client's work.
Responsible AI
Artificial intelligence can create significant value, but it also introduces new responsibilities.
MyFloww aims to use AI in ways that are appropriate, transparent and proportionate to the use case.
Human oversight
Important business decisions should not be delegated blindly to automated systems where meaningful human judgement is required.
Privacy
Sensitive or confidential information should not be submitted to AI systems without appropriate authorisation and safeguards.
Accuracy
AI-generated output can be incorrect. Important output should be validated when accuracy materially affects users, customers or business decisions.
Transparency
Where appropriate, users should understand when they are interacting with an AI-powered system rather than a human.
Security
AI integrations should follow appropriate authentication, access-control and data-handling practices.
Responsible automation
Automation should improve business processes without intentionally misleading users, creating abusive communication patterns or bypassing legitimate controls.
Respectful workplace
MyFloww expects a professional working environment where people can contribute, ask questions, disagree constructively and perform their work without harassment, intimidation or discriminatory treatment.
Our expectations include:
- Professional communication
- Respectful feedback
- No bullying or harassment
- Fair treatment
- Equal opportunity
- Constructive disagreement
- Respect for personal boundaries
- Responsible use of company systems
Responsible technology work
MyFloww reserves the right to decline projects or requests that we believe would require unlawful, deceptive, abusive or clearly unethical use of technology.
Examples may include requests involving:
- Fraudulent impersonation
- Deceptive manipulation
- Unauthorised access to systems
- Misuse of personal data
- Intentionally misleading automated communication
- Software intended to facilitate unlawful activity
Raising a concern
Employees, contractors, clients or partners who become aware of conduct that may conflict with these principles are encouraged to raise the concern.
Concerns should be handled responsibly and objectively. We aim to handle reports with appropriate discretion and share information only where reasonably necessary to review the matter.
Concerns can be raised by email at:
info@myfloww.inA person raising a genuine concern in good faith should not face retaliation for doing so.
Keeping these principles current
MyFloww's business, technology and responsibilities will continue to evolve.
We intend to review these principles periodically as the company grows, regulations change and new technologies introduce different ethical considerations.
These principles provide guidance for responsible conduct but do not replace specific contractual obligations, company policies or applicable law.
