§03 · Honest limits
What backlink data can and can't tell you
The provider's estimates
Totals come from DataForSEO's backlink index, which is incomplete and keeps updating. They aren't Google's figures, and Google publishes no authority score for any website.
Totals versus rows
The totals can be far larger than the 5,000 detail rows each month. The 5,000 is across your site, your competitors and every list together, so your own site's most useful detail comes first.
“New” can mean newly found
A link marked new was first seen by the provider this month. It may be older, and only just discovered.
Lost needs evidence
A link missing from a capped sample isn't proof it's gone. A link is shown as lost only when the provider reports it lost; otherwise its state is unknown.
Domains and links, kept apart
Referring domains count the unique websites linking to you; backlinks count every link. One site can link to you a hundred times.
Analysis, not link building
No buying links, no outreach emails, no listings and no automatic disavowing. A provider spam score is its own estimate, never a sign of a Google penalty.

Each month of service includes one full refresh and up to 5,000 detail rows in total: across your own site, up to 2 competitors and every list together, not 5,000 per list or per domain. Your own site comes first; a bounded share goes to the competitor comparison, and a link is shown once however many lists it appears in.
No surprise refreshes or charges
An interrupted refresh carries on from where it stopped, and data already fetched isn’t fetched again. Unused rows don’t carry over, there are no extra refreshes to buy, and nothing extra is ever charged. Your account shows the rows used and the date they next reset.

What you agree to, and what you don't
Paid in advance
Pay one month, or twelve months at once, on Cashfree's checkout with UPI, a card or net banking. The price you see is the amount you pay: nothing is added at checkout.
Nothing renews on its own
We email you three, two and one days before your paid time ends, and you renew from your account. AutoPay (UPI or card mandates) isn't available for these subscriptions yet.
Annual means twelve months, paid once
One upfront payment for twelve months of service, the price of ten monthly payments. It isn't instalments or a trial, and your monthly allowance still resets every month of service.
Cancel from your account
We stop the reminders and you keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, including the rest of a year paid upfront. A cancelled period isn't refunded in part; a period paid twice is refunded.
No grace period
If a paid period ends without a renewal, that product pauses until you renew. Your other MyFloww subscriptions carry on, and your receipts, billing history and account stay open.

What does Backlink Monitor do?

How much does Backlink Monitor cost?

Where does the backlink data come from?
From DataForSEO's backlink index, a large crawl of the web that is incomplete and keeps updating. The figures are the provider's estimates and are labelled as such; they aren't Google's, and Google publishes no authority score for any website.
Why are the totals bigger than the links I can see?
The totals are the provider's counts across its whole index, while the detail is capped at 5,000 rows a month across your site, your competitors and every list together. So a site with more links than that shows its totals in full and the most useful detail first: your own site, then a set share for the competitor comparison.
What do new and lost links mean?
New means first seen by the provider this month, which can be an older link it has only just found. Lost is shown only when the provider reports a link as lost: a link missing from a capped sample isn't proof that it's gone, so it's marked unknown rather than lost.
Is the 5,000-row allowance per competitor?
No. It is 5,000 rows in total for each monthly refresh, across your own site, up to two competitors and every detail list together. It resets each month of service and doesn't carry over.
Can I refresh my backlinks more than once a month?

Does a high spam score mean a Google penalty?
No. A spam score is the data provider's own estimate, not something Google reports, and it can't tell you whether Google has penalised a site. Treat it as a reason to look at a link, not a verdict.
Does Backlink Monitor renew automatically?
